Helambu Charity Trek & Yoga

Helambu is one of the most delightful trekking regions, situated about 75km north of Kathmandu. It provides a unique chance to experience Sherpa culture, language and dress up which are very different from those of the Solu Khumbu Sherpa. The number of visitors is attracted with picturesque valley each and every year from the different part of the world. Prior to start trek, it has an opportunity to share the moment with lovely children at Kalidevi High School, situated about 12km north of Kathmandu, the children of low income people are studying.

YOG comes from the Sanskrit words which mean "To JOIN". Through of Yoga has an image of postures (Asans) to develop flexibility, general body health and awareness. Its main aims to reach the highest points to the spiritual path which it can do by all the level and ages to strengthening of their body and minds.

Sherpa Culture trek with Charity

Day 01: Arrival at Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Visit Kalidevi School situated about 12km northern of Kathmandu. It provides an opportunity to share the moment with lovely children. Children of low income people are studying at the school. Then back to Kathmandu and check into hotel

Day 03-04: Meditation course in Kathmandu.

Day 05: Breakfast at hotel, then drive to SundariJal, trek to Chispani 2140m, through beautiful valley and dense forest of pine , oak and rhododendron. It is one of the outstanding views points of the Himalayan ranges. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 06: Breakfast at trekking lodge, then commence trek to Kutumsang 2450m through beautiful valley and rhododendron and fir forest, trail climbs the ridge and descends as well as . Overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Breakfast at trekking lodge, then commence trek to Tharepati 3640m through alpine meadows , enjoying with magnificent views of snow capped mountains including Dorje-Lakpa Mountain, Gauri Shanker ( Holy mountain of Shiva and Parvati), Lantang-Ri, Langsisa mountains. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Breakfast at lodge, then commence trek to Tarke Gyang 2590m. This is one of the delightful Sherpa villages of Helambu valley; majority is Buddhist communities in this village. Overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Breakfast at lodge, then trek begins to Sermathang 2610m through a unique valley. People of this village practice Drukpa Kagyu Buddhism which is same like national religion of Bhutan, the founder of statue in the monastery by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal . Overnight at Lodge.

Day 10: Breakfast at lodge, then trek begins to Melamchi- Bazzar through pine forest and delightful villages. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 11: After breakfast drive to Kathmandu and check into hotel.

Day 12: Enjoy with Spa of Auyrvedic treatment.

Day 13: Leisure day at Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure to airport.

Tour cost: GBP 715. Per Person.
Cost Includes:

Twin-sharing accommodation on B/ B basis at Kathmandu. During the trek all meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) and accommodation at local tea houses. Well and trained experienced trekking guide and Porter. Yoga and Ayurvedic Spa treatment.

Cost Excludes:
All kind of personal nature expenses, such as travel insurance, tips, soft drinks, liquors, Lunch and Dinner at Kathmandu, rescue operation charges etc.
