Explore Paro –Thimpu –Pumakha & Bhumthang

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Paro. Upon arrival meet with our tour coordinator and drive to Thimpu. O/N hotel.

Day 02:After breakfast Our guide take you an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this Monastery, hence it is called "Tiger's Nest". The excursion to monastery's view point takes about 5 hours, round trip. On the return to Paro town visit enroute Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom. After lunch drive to Thimpu.Overnight at hotel

Day 03:            Commence sightseeing in Thimpu including a visit to Tashichhodzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery which houses most of the government offices and the King's throne room. It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the chief Abobot of Bhutan. Also visit the Institute of Zorig Chusum where students undertake a course on the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan, the National Library, which holds an extensive collection of Buddhist texts and manuscripts, some dating back to several hundred years back, as well as modern academic books, mainly on Himalayan culture and religion, the post office, the Institute of Tibetology, the National Memorial Chorten and the handicrafts emporium which displays a wide assortment of beautiful handwoven and crafted products. Overnight at hotel in Thimpu.

Day 04:  After breakfast  drive over the spectacular Dochula Pass (3100m) to the warm and fertile valley of Punakha. Visit the historic Punakha Dzong. Once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan. The magnificent Dzong is sprawled between The Pho Chu and Mo Chu River. O/N hotel.

Day 05: Drive to the valley of Bhumthang 210 kms/08 hrs.) Through the Yotola Pass (3440m). This valley is considered a very sacred place for the Bhutanese with many temples and holy places. O/N hotel.

Day 06: Drive to Mebartsho, a holy site and pilgrimage place also known as The Burning Lake. Visit The Jakar Dzong (castle of white bird). Kurjey Lhkhang and the Swiss Farm. O/N hotel.

Day 07: Drive back to Thimpu (267 kms/08 hrs) takes you via Tongsa and Wangdiphodrang. O/N hotel.

Day 08: Drive to airport to connect the flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at airport transfer to hotel.
